How do I clean my blinds or shades?

Roller Shades, Roman Shades, Panel Systems, Vertical Blinds:

• Do Not: Wash, use strong detergents, or spot removers. Dry cleaning is not recommended.
• Cleaning Method: Use a slightly damp cloth to blot gently or a vacuum with an upholstery attachment to clean when dusty. Be careful not to wrinkle or crush the fabric during cleaning.

Wood Blinds:

• Do Not: Use water, strong detergents, or abrasive solutions as they can cause damage.
• Hint: To clean most of the top surface of each slat, tilt the slats down slightly (but not quite closed).
• Decorative Cloth Tape: Use a soft sponge or cloth moistened with lukewarm water to blot gently.

3. Cellular Shades:

• Avoid: Contact with window cleaning products.
• Cleaning Method: Use a feather duster or a vacuum with an upholstery attachment to lightly brush over the shade. Alternatively, use a lukewarm damp sponge and lightly dab the shade.

Note: Be careful not to scratch or damage the products when cleaning!
